Mass production of a mobile shelter capable of protecting against various threats, including a nuclear explosion, has begun in Russia. The developer is the All-Russian Research Institute for Civil Defense and Emergency Situations (VNII GOChS), and production is carried out in Dzerzhinsk, Nizhny Novgorod region.

According to the GOChS Research Institute, the launch of mass production is supported at the state level. The shelter is designed to protect against natural disasters and man-made accidents.
