Two telecommunication cables laid along the bottom of the Baltic Sea were damaged. We are talking about the communication lines connecting Sweden and Germany, as well as Sweden and Lithuania.

Cable damage between Sweden and Germany became known on the evening of November 18. An investigation was launched upon the discovery of the malfunction.

Later it became known that the communication cable between Sweden and Lithuania was also damaged. An investigation has also been launched into this fact.

It is known that both damaged communication branches intersect with each other. Therefore, in addition to the version about the accidental dropping of the anchor by one of the vessels, the version of intentional damage to the equipment is not excluded.
