Thailand, Indonesia and Malaysia became BRICS partners

The number of partners of the BRICS interstate association continues to grow. This is reported by the press service of the Russian Foreign Ministry with reference to Deputy Foreign Minister Alexander Pankin.

Pankin noted that during the BRICS summit held in Kazan, a "solid package of agreements" was concluded&in such areas as trade, investment, artificial intelligence, energy, climate, logistics. Thailand, Malaysia and Indonesia became partners of the association.

"The summit demonstrated the desire of the world majority to establish a just world order, reform global institutions and build equal economic ties," the press service quoted Pankin as saying.

Earlier it was reported that following the results of the BRICS summit, an official invitation to join the organization was receivedTurkey, Bolivia.
