The amount of compensation payments to the participants of the SVO was tied to the severity of the injury

The Russian Federation has established a differentiated approach to assigning payments to military personnel for injuries sustained during combat operations. The corresponding decree was signed by President Vladimir Putin.

According to the decree, now the amount of the lump sum payment will depend on the severity of the injury, for example, concussion, injury or injury. The maximum payout amount will be 3 million rubles. Before that, the amount of a one-time payment to the participants of the SVO who were injured was 3 million rubles, the payment in case of death of a fighter was 5 million rubles.

The document entered into force on the day of signing, i.e. November 13.
