During the trading session, Gold (Gold) is growing by 0.3% and is trading at $ 2,606 per 1 troy ounce (31.1 grams) of gold.
Platinum (Platinum) is growing by 0.4% and is trading at $952 per 1 troy ounce (31.1 grams) of platinum.
The centers of precious metals trading are the London Over-the-counter market, the U.S. futures market and the Shanghai Gold Exchange (SGE).The turnover of the three sites accounts for more than 90% of global trading volumes.
The gold market is highly liquid. The daily volume of trading on the gold futures market averages 50 billion USD. In the over-the-counter market, the figure is even higher – about 60 billion USD.
