Russia has forgiven debts to African countries in the amount of $ 20 billion. These funds will be used for development projects under the refinancing program. This was stated by Mikhail Bogdanov, Special Representative of the President of Russia for the Middle East and Africa, as well as Deputy Foreign Minister of the Russian Federation, in an interview with TASS after the first Russia-Africa ministerial conference.
