In Russia, the list of companies that have the right to independently decide what and to what extent to publish corporate information has been updated. The corresponding decree was signed by Russian President Vladimir Putin.
The list was supplemented by "Surgutneftegaz", "Novatek" and its subsidiaries "Arctic LNG - 2" and "Yamal LNG", as well as the Central Design Bureau "Lapis Lazuli".
The decree allowing companies to independently determine the composition and volume of disclosed corporate information was signed by the President of the Russian Federation in 2023. Then such a right could be used by companies in the oil and gas sector such as Bashneft, Rosneft, Slavneft, Gazprom, Ufaorgsintez, Transneft and their subsidiaries structures. In total, the list included 46 companies.
