Since 2022, Venezuela has increased the supply of its products to the Russian Federation by 5.5 times. Imports of Russian goods increased by a third. This was announced by Executive Vice President of the Bolivarian Republic Delcy Rodriguez during a meeting of the Business Council of the two countries, TASS reports.

According to Rodriguez, the main volume of exported products was coffee, cocoa, cane sugar, avocados and vegetables. Mineral fertilizers, cereals, soybean oil and vaccines are imported from Russia.

The representative of the republic noted that Venezuela is ready to trade with the Russian Federation in national currencies: rubles and bolivars, that despite Western sanctions that hinder economic cooperation, Venezuela has its own legislative framework that protects investors.
