Federal budget revenues and expenditures increased by almost a third year on year

The Ministry of Finance has published preliminary data on the execution of the federal budget for January-October 2024. Up-to-date information is posted on the official website of the department.

Budget revenues for the past period amounted to 29,668 billion rubles, which is 28.4% higher than in the same period last year. Of these, oil and gas revenues accounted for 9,539 billion rubles (+32.3%), non-oil and gas revenues - 20,129 billion rubles (+26.6%).

Federal budget expenditures reached 29,889 billion rubles, which is 23.7% higher than the level of the same period in 2023.

During the reporting period, the federal budget deficit amounted to 220 billion rubles, which is 830 billion rubles lower than in the same period last year. Overall, the budget deficit is not expected to exceed 1.7% of GDP by the end of the year.
