In the case of especially large-scale fraud, the top manager of the Rus sewing factory was arrested

The court sent Dmitry Gromov, the top manager of the clothing factory «Rus» in Dzerzhinsk, under arrest. This is reported by the press service of the courts of general jurisdiction of Moscow.

Gromov is accused of especially large-scale fraud. According to investigators, the garment factory "Rus" together with a group of individuals supplied products for the needs of the Ministry of Defense at an inflated cost as part of the execution of the state contract. As a result of fraudulent actions, the budget of the Russian Federation was damaged on a particularly large scale. The amount of damage was not specified.

Gromov was sent under arrest for two months, until December 30, 2024.
