3 million foreign tourists visited Russia from January to September 2024. During the year, the tourist flow of foreigners to the Russian Federation increased by 42%. This is reported by TASS with a link to Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Chernyshenko.

The regions of the Far East attracted the most foreign tourists: Yakutia, Khabarovsk Territory and Amur Region. The influx of intourists to the regions of the Northwest and Siberia has also increased: Karelia, St. Petersburg, Murmansk, Irkutsk, Tomsk regions and Tuva.
