The Russian government has allocated 9 billion rubles for the advanced construction and reconstruction of four sections of highways necessary for the extension of the M-12 East highway, which stretches from Kazan to Yekaterinburg. This is reported on the website of the government of the country. According to the newspaper Vedomosti, the corresponding order has already been signed by the Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Mikhail Mishustin.

This project provides for the construction of bypasses of cities such as Nizhnekamsk and Naberezhnye Chelny, the settlements of Isametovo, Verkhnearkeyevo, Layashty, Ishkarovo and Asyanovo. In addition, reconstruction of two more sections of roads on the territory of Tatarstan is envisaged. Traffic on new sections of roads should be launched by the end of the year.

Recall that the Government of the Russian Federation has decided to create a new high-speed toll highway M-12 (Moscow – Nizhny Novgorod – Kazan) in 2020.
