Drone production in Russia is expected to increase tenfold by the end of the year to the level of 2023. This was announced by Russian President Vladimir Putin at a meeting of the Military-Industrial Commission.
He noted that by the end of last year, the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation received about 140 thousand UAVs of various types. This year, the output of such products is planned to increase "at times". Serial production of drones will be carried out on the basis of special centers, a total of 48 such sites will operate.- The range of unmanned systems is expanding, unmanned boats and robotic platforms for multi-purpose applications are being created. At the same time, most of them will be sent to the troops located on the line of contact," the head of state stressed.
