Quotas for the export of mineral fertilizers from the Russian Federation in the amount of 19.2 million tons are planned to be extended until the end of May 2025. This proposal was made by the Ministry of Industry and Trade. The relevant draft government decree has been published on the portal of draft legal regulations.

Previously established quotas expire on December 1, 2024. The quota for the export of nitrogen fertilizers currently stands at 11.2 million tons, for complex fertilizers - 8 million tons.

This measure was introduced to meet the needs of the domestic market, to provide fertilizers to farmers, as well as producers of promotional industries using fertilizers in production.
