Murmansk and Apatity airports were temporarily closed

In the Murmansk region, temporary restrictions have been imposed on the operation of local airports. This is reported by the Federal Air Transport Agency.

The reception and dispatch of aircraft was banned in Murmansk and Apatity on September 12 from 9:35 a.m. Moscow time. This measure was taken to ensure the safety of civil aircraft flights.

The day before, temporary restrictions were also imposed at Murmansk and Apatity airports. The reason was the UAV attack. During the period of restrictions on the territory of the region, Russian air defense systems three drones were shot down.
