There are currently over 630,000 illegal migrants in Russia. This is reported by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation, these data were announced at a meeting of the government commission on migration policy. Although, perhaps, their real number is several times higher.
According to Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs Alexander Gorovoy, illegal immigrants are those who have violated the regime of stay in the country, have two or more administrative offenses or conduct illegal labor activities. At the meeting, its participants discussed the possibility of creating a special register of controlled entities. This will be a database of foreign citizens with expired or cancelled migration documents subject to expulsion from Russia.
However, according to Deputy Interior Minister Alexander Gorovoy, if you add to the database all those who violated migration laws in Russia, then no IT infrastructure can withstand this.
