Gazprom continues to supply gas for transit through Ukraine through the Sudzha station

On August 8, 37.3 million cubic meters of transit gas will pass through the gas measuring station «Suja». The volume has been confirmed by the Ukrainian side, RIA Novosti reports with reference to the official representative of the company Sergey Kupriyanov.
Gas pumping dropped below 40 million cubic meters per day on the eve of August 7.
— «Gazprom» supplies Russian gas for transit through the territory of Ukraine in the amount confirmed by the Ukrainian side through GIS "Sudzha", – 37.3 million cubic meters on August 8. The GIS application has been rejected, the agency quotes the words of a representative of Gazprom.
GIS «Sudzha» — the only remaining entrance for gas transit to Europe after Ukraine stopped accepting the resource through GIS «Sokhranovka».
According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, on August 6, units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine went on the offensive to seize territory in the Sudzhansky district of the Kursk region.
