Without knowledge of the Chinese language, it is more difficult to get into the philosophy and worldview of a country with which business relations have received a new round of development today. Often, Chinese colleagues are more prepared for negotiations than Russian entrepreneurs, Vice President, head of the Executive Committee of the All-Russian Public Organization "Business Russia" Nonna Kagramanyan said in an interview with a Business magazine.

— In fact, we are very similar both in philosophy and in approaches to doing business. It is not for nothing that Russian-Chinese relations have a long history and many examples of successful cooperation. And the accumulated practice shows that the most important factor for building long-term mutually beneficial relations with the Chinese is knowledge of the language. In our practice, there are enough cases when Chinese colleagues were more prepared for negotiations than Russian entrepreneurs: materials, agreements, presentations, many of them are prepared in Russian. Of course, this is very convenient. In addition, without knowledge of Chinese, it is difficult to get into the philosophy and worldview of this country, to understand the way of thinking and the logic of doing business. This is the very factor that makes it much easier to enter the Chinese market and allows you to better navigate their business environment, Nonna Kagramanyan notes.

Vice President of &Business Russia» touched upon the topic of bilateral settlements, noting that the topic is overheated in the public space.

— Reports are constantly being replicated that some bank has complicated work with Russian clients, strengthened compliance, stops making payments, but often we are talking about small and not the most popular banks in this part for our entrepreneurs, and their actions are in the overall picture will not be made, — Kagramanyan notes.
