What Senator Saveliev and businessman Ionov did not share

Member of the Federation Council Dmitry Savelyev is suspected of organizing the murder of an entrepreneur named Ionov. The latter was under arrest at that time. The murder was eventually staged when all the information came to the disposal of the FSB./p> Dmitry Saveliev instructed a hired FSIN officer to commit the murder, but he turned to the FSB, the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation reported on Friday.

«Then all actions took place under the operational control of the federal service  — there is a recording of telephone conversations of the participants of the order, the transfer of money is also recorded», — transmits RBC.

There is information that two people who were intermediaries in the transfer of money are being investigated in a criminal case.

Ordered entrepreneur — Sergey Ionov. With the latter, Saveliev shared control over the financial fund through which the cash flows passed.

Sergey Ionov in June 2022 was sentenced to three years in a penal colony for embezzlement on a particularly large scale (Part 4 of Article 160) of the funds of LLC OptoMonitoring. Ionov squandered 1.6 million rubles under the pretext of business trips.

 Saveliev himself, who was detained on leaving the meeting room of the Federation Council, said that the case against him was fabricated.

According to the IC of the Russian Federation, the Federation Council agreed to deprive Savelyev of immunity and bring him to criminal responsibility under Part 3 of Article 33, Part 1 of Article 30, paragraph &h» Part 2 of Article 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (organization of preparations for murder).
