In Russia, by 2029, the number of people employed in senior positions will decrease by more than half a million people. This is reported by the RBC publication with reference to the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection.

The Ministry analyzed how the professional qualification structure of employees in the Russian labor market will change by 2029. Preliminary calculations are contained in the documents of the draft national project "Personnel", which was demonstrated back in June at one of the interdepartmental meetings chaired by Deputy Prime Minister Tatyana Golikova.

So, it is assumed that in the coming years the need for employees of the category «managers» will decrease by 533 thousand people the most. At the same time, the need for highly qualified specialists, on the contrary, will increase by 1.395 million people.

In order to eliminate the consequences of the shortage of workers, it is planned to further develop the targeted recruitment of migrants, increase the employment of disabled people and combat veterans. The total demand for personnel in Russia will grow to 2.46 million people by 2030.
