In Russia, the ban on the export of rice and rice cereals from the country has been extended until the end of the year

The Russian government has extended the temporary restriction on the export of rice and rice cereals from the country until the end of this year, it became known from a government decree published on the website of regulatory legal acts. The ban has been extended until December 31.

This decision was made to maintain stability in the domestic food market. At the same time, the ban does not apply to supplies to the countries of the Eurasian Economic Union, as well as to Abkhazia and South Ossetia. In addition, rice and rice cereals can be sent abroad as humanitarian aid and in the framework of international transit transportation.
