### Russian Government Sets Quotas on Fertilizer Exports
The Russian government has set export quotas for mineral fertilizers, which will be in effect from December 1, 2026, to May 31, 2027.
The decision was made to ensure uninterrupted operations of agricultural producers, feed manufacturers, and other consumers, as well as to maintain sufficient fertilizer supplies for the domestic market.
The total volume of the export quota will amount to 18.8 million tons: 11.3 million tons for nitrogen fertilizers, 2.3 million tons for ammonium nitrate (a type of nitrogen fertilizer), and 7.5 million tons for complex fertilizers.
The quotas will not apply to fertilizer deliveries to Abkhazia and South Ossetia (two breakaway regions recognized by Russia), nor to exports as part of international transit or international humanitarian aid.
