Russian companies engaged in the production of electronic components and radio-electronic products will be able to benefit from extended insurance contribution benefits. Starting January 1, 2027, lasers and laser installations will be added to the list of equipment that qualifies for a reduced insurance contribution rate of 7.6%. This decision was signed by Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin.

The equipment in question is used in the manufacture of electronic modules and various types of radio-electronic products. Its inclusion in the list will allow manufacturers to apply the preferential insurance contribution rate and is expected to stimulate the development of domestic production capacities.

As noted by the government, laser technologies play a crucial role in modernizing enterprises, particularly by increasing the level of automation of technological processes and production lines.

Mikhail Mishustin announced the planned expansion of support measures on November 3 during a government meeting. According to the Prime Minister, the new conditions are intended to make business participation in complex technological projects more attractive and contribute to the development of Russian expertise in high-tech industries.
