Russian President Vladimir Putin has signed a law ratifying a protocol amending the Russian-Kyrgyz treaty on military-technical cooperation. The relevant document was published on the official legal information website.

The protocol was signed in Bishkek in November 2025 and aims to improve and simplify the procedures for military-technical cooperation between the two countries. Specifically, deliveries of military equipment will be carried out under contracts concluded between authorized organizations of both sides. Import and export licenses for such products will no longer be required.
