Yandex Pay Users Report Payment and Transfer Disruptions

Users of Yandex Pay are reporting issues with making payments, transferring money, and topping up accounts. The problem was noticed by experts from the monitoring service Downdetector404.

The first reports of malfunctions began to come in around 1:00 PM on November 2nd. In the following hour, the number of complaints significantly increased: by 2:35 PM, users had already submitted 628 reports of malfunctions.

Residents of Moscow, Moscow Region, Samara Region, and St. Pyotrsburg were particularly active in reporting problems.

Specifically, service users encountered difficulties in making money transfers, paying for purchases, and topping up their balance.

Earlier, a major technical failure occurred at Russian hosting provider Beget. The company confirmed a large-scale incident affecting all levels of its infrastructure. Engineers began restoring the operation of equipment and services in the data centers.
