The Russian government has allocated 200 million rubles ($2.7 million) to upgrade infrastructure and purchase Russian-made equipment for the fisheries sector. This will enable the monitoring of aquatic biological resources, fishing vessel operations, and processing of information essential for industry enterprises.

"We expect this to ensure the uninterrupted operation of digital platforms and help increase the efficiency of companies engaged in fisheries," Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin emphasized.
