Russia and Algeria will resume direct flights in early 2027, according to Russian Ambassador to Algeria Alexei Solomatin, as reported by RIA Novosti.

Solomatin stated that the resumption of flights between the two countries will take place after Algeria completes the necessary organizational procedures, including the formalization of the presence of Air Algerie representatives in Russia.

"Russian competent authorities have promised full assistance. After completing all the necessary procedures, direct flights between Russia and Algeria will be resumed," Solomatin emphasized.
