Moscalkova appointed State Duma representative to Russian Constitutional Court

Former Ombudsman and State Duma Deputy Tatyana Moskalkova has been appointed to represent the lower house of the Russian parliament in the Constitutional Court of Russia. The decision was made during the recent plenary session of the State Duma.

"To entrust the functions of the authorized representative of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation in the Constitutional Court of the Russian Federation to State Duma Deputy Tatyana Nikolaevna Moskalkova," reads the document.

According to the rules of the parliamentary chamber, the term of office of the representative cannot exceed the term of the ninth convocation of the State Duma.
