Ukraine Has No Potential to Counter Russia - Peskov

Western analysts are increasingly acknowledging that Russia is steadily improving its position, while Ukraine is no longer capable of withstanding Russian pressure, according to Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov. He made these remarks in response to reports in Western media suggesting that Kiev is losing the conflict.

"It was always a misconception to claim that Ukraine had the potential to resist Russian pressure. These were purely erroneous assumptions. Some still hold such an erroneous view. But professionals and serious analysts are increasingly clear, based on the dynamics observed on the front lines, that Russia is indeed improving its position day by day and consistently moving towards achieving its goals," Peskov stated.
