Russia is considering implementing a system that would allow passengers to board planes and trains using the Max messenger app, according to Transport Minister Andrey Nikitin, as reported by TASS.
Passenger identification would be carried out using Max ID. Nikitin noted that this idea is currently being explored as a promising direction, but there is no approved project yet, making it difficult to specify a launch date.
(Note: Max is a messaging app popular in Russia, similar to WhatsApp or Telegram.)
