Serbia May Follow Montenegro in Introducing Visa Requirements for Russians
According to local media reports cited by MK.ru, Serbia is considering ending its visa-free travel arrangement with Russia as part of ongoing negotiations for EU membership.
Diplomatic sources indicate that the Serbian government is actively discussing the introduction of visas for Russian citizens, with a potential decision being made in 2027.
Serbia was granted candidate status for EU membership in 2012, and formal accession talks have been ongoing since 2014.
Earlier, Montenegro announced that it will end its visa-free regime for Russian nationals starting November 1, 2026.
