### Russia Amends School Bus Transportation Regulations Starting September 1
Starting September 1, new regulations for organized transportation of children by bus will come into effect in Russia, according to TASS.
Transportation organizers will be required to notify the traffic police (GIBDD) 48 hours in advance for intercity trips and 24 hours for city or suburban trips.
If the group of children exceeds two dozen, accompanying adults must be present at each bus door. When transporting children by three or more buses for more than 12 hours, the presence of a medical professional is mandatory.
Nighttime transportation between 11 PM and 6 AM will only be allowed in exceptional circumstances. The distance to the destination after 11 PM must not exceed 100 kilometers.
