In the first half of 2026, Russians spent 65% more on museums, exhibitions and excursions compared to the same period last year, with the average ticket price increasing by 28% year-on-year, according to data from the payment service "YooKassa" reported by TASS.

Demand for land transportation is also growing. The bus and suburban transport segment saw an 85% year-on-year increase, the strongest growth among all domestic tourism sectors. The number of transactions in this area rose by 49%, while the average ticket price increased by 24%, reaching 1,054 rubles ($13.50).

Experts attribute this trend to the expansion of routes, fleet renewal, and increased passenger trust in online ticket purchases.
