Demand for Service Offices in Central Moscow Sees Uptick, Experts Say

The growing popularity of serviced offices is not just a trend, but a reflection of new economic and management realities: changes in work organization approaches, the need to scale up quickly or, conversely, optimize costs. This trend is particularly evident in central Moscow: prestigious location, transport accessibility, and a developed urban environment make such spaces especially in demand.

We asked tenants what factors influence their demand for serviced offices.

For example, the SOK serviced office network completed two deals in June for 217 workstations at Arena Park. The new residents of SOK Arena Park are the Association of Professional Football Clubs "Football National League" (FNL), which rented an office for 102 workstations, and Russian IT company SafeTech specializing in information security for financial institutions. Together, the companies occupied 1210 sq. m of non-residential premises on Leningradsky Prospekt, near the "Dinamo" metro station.

"When choosing a new office, convenient location, comfortable conditions for our team, and the ability to focus on business development were important for us. The serviced office format of SOK allows us not to be distracted by operational issues and provides a comfortable environment for effective work. We are happy to join the SOK resident community," commented Denis Kalemberg, CEO of SafeTech.

Other residents also noted the importance of location and the development of service infrastructure. In particular, tenants appreciated the opportunity to have 24/7 access to workplaces, meeting rooms, and conference halls.

"Demand for serviced offices in central locations in Moscow is growing. Companies are increasingly choosing the serviced format because it allows them to remain in the best locations in the city, without spending money on maintenance staff or a management company, while optimizing costs compared to renting their own office," noted Ivan Sazhin, Commercial Director of the SOK serviced office network.
