### Russia Extends Ban on Oil Sales Below Price Cap Until 2027 Russian President Vladimir Putin has signed a decree extending the ban on sales of Russian oil and petroleum products below the price cap set by the G7 and the European Union until December 31, 2027. The decree, which took effect on February 1, 2023, has been extended several times, most recently until June 30, 2026. The measure prohibits the supply of Russian oil and petroleum products to foreign legal entities and individuals if the contracts directly or indirectly include the use of the price cap mechanism. The ban applies at all stages of delivery until the final consumer.
