Ryabkov Comments on Special Operation Timeline at St. Pyotrsburg Economic Forum

Russia is prepared to continue its military operation in Ukraine for as long as necessary to achieve its objectives, Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov stated at the St. Pyotrsburg International Economic Forum 2026, according to RIA Novosti.

When asked by journalists about the potential duration of the military operation, the diplomat emphasized that Russia does not set any predetermined timeframes for its actions.

"As long as it takes," Ryabkov said, commenting on the prospects for the continuation of the special operation.

The statement was made during an interaction with media representatives at the St. Pyotrsburg International Economic Forum, which is taking place in St. Pyotrsburg from June 3 to 6.
