### Russian ATMs and Payment Terminals to Function Without Internet Russia is preparing to enable ATMs and payment terminals to operate even without internet connectivity, according to Elvira Nabiullina, the head of the Central Bank of Russia, speaking at the Association of Banks Congress. "Ministry of Digital Development has collaborated with telecom operators to develop technical solutions that allow ATMs and payment terminals to function even when mobile internet is down," Nabiullina was quoted as saying by RIA Novosti. She added that experts are currently testing this feature.
