Both Russia and the U.S. remain committed to finding ways to resolve the conflict in Ukraine and restore bilateral cooperation, according to Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov.

"In relation to the Ukrainian crisis, we do indeed observe a Washington approach aimed at achieving results, which notably recognizes the importance of addressing the root causes of the conflict initiated by NATO countries against Russia," Ryabkov told Vedomosti.

He noted that U.S. President Donald Trump is focused on achieving results regarding the conflict in Ukraine. Ryabkov emphasized that the current U.S. administration has moved away from the "dogmatic liberal-globalist worldview of its predecessors," although it cannot be said that there has been a complete break from the previous policy of isolating Russia.
