Russia, China Extend Visa-Free Travel Agreement Until 2027

Chinese authorities have decided to extend the visa-free regime for Russian citizens until the end of 2027, Foreign Ministry spokesperson Guo Jiakun announced.

"In order to further facilitate people-to-people exchanges between China and Russia, the PRC has decided to extend the visa-free arrangement for Russian citizens until December 31, 2027. Russian citizens holding ordinary passports can enter China for business trips, tourism, visiting family and friends, exchanges or transit for up to 30 days without obtaining a visa," Guo said.
