The fate of relocants who wish to return to Russia but have tarnished their reputation with negative statements against the country and its defenders will be decided by the courts, Russian State Duma Chairman Vyacheslav Volodin announced.
"Those who left, insulted our defenders, harmed the state, and aided unfriendly countries by financing the armed forces of Ukraine (a reference to the ongoing conflict between Russia and Ukraine) should understand that they will face legal proceedings. Law enforcement agencies will definitely respond to the arrival of such pseudo-citizens," Volodin said, commenting on a letter he received from the wife of a Russian actor requesting permission for them to return to Russia.
