U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio has stated that the United States is willing to continue mediating between Russia (RF) and Ukraine, but only if such efforts prove productive. Rubio acknowledged that current U.S. efforts to resolve the conflict have "stalled."

"We have played and tried to play the role of mediator in this process. So far, it has not yielded fruitful results for various reasons. We remain ready to fulfill this role if it can be productive. We do not want to waste our time and invest effort and energy into endeavors that do not yield progress," Rubio emphasized.
