Oil at the Tuapse refinery, which was attacked by Ukrainian drones, was intended for export. By its actions, Ukraine is provoking even greater destabilization of global energy markets, said Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov.
"The Kyiv regime has once again struck oil storage facilities, the oil in which was intended for export operations, that is, for fulfilling obligations under export contracts. Thus, the Kyiv regime, through its actions, is further increasing the oil deficit on world markets, which are already experiencing significant difficulties due to the situation in the Strait of Hormuz, and is provoking further destabilization in global energy markets," Peskov was quoted as saying by TASS.
