Russian Average Wage Nearly Doubles Over Five Years

Average salaries in Russia have nearly doubled over the past five years, according to calculations by TASS news agency based on Rosstat data.

TASS estimates that the average salary across the country has increased by nearly 55,000 rubles during this period.

As of January 1, 2021, the average salary in Russia was 49,500 rubles ($640 USD), while by 2026 it had risen to 103,600 rubles ($1,350 USD).
