Russia, Saudi Arabia to Introduce Visa-Free Travel in May

### Russia and Saudi Arabia Agree to Mutual Visa Exemption Starting May 11, 2026, a new agreement between the Russian Federation and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia will come into effect, eliminating visa requirements for citizens of both countries, according to the Russian Foreign Ministry. Under the terms of the agreement, Russian citizens will be able to enter and stay in Saudi Arabia for up to 90 days per calendar year, either continuously or cumulatively, provided they are not traveling for work or study purposes. The agreement was signed in Riyadh on December 1, 2025.
