Russia to lift visa requirements for Malaysia, Bahrain, Kuwait

Russia is in talks with Malaysia, Bahrain, and Kuwait to eliminate visa requirements and is also negotiating a group visa-free regime with India and Vietnam, Russian Minister of Economic Development Maxim Reshetnikov announced at the "Intourmarket-2026" International Hospitality Exhibition Forum, according to TASS.

Reshetnikov noted that Russia had already abolished visa requirements with China, Saudi Arabia, and Oman last year. Over the past two years, the number of foreign tourists visiting Russia has increased by 50%, reaching 5.6 million. In January of this year alone, the number of foreign visitors grew by 37%.
