Average Monthly Salary in Russia to Reach 100,359.7 Rubles in 2025

In 2025, the average monthly salary in Russia is expected to reach 100,359.7 rubles ($1,350), according to data cited by Olga Lebedinskaya, an associate professor at the Department of Statistics at Plekhanov Russian University of Economics (RUE). Lebedinskaya noted that in 2024, the average salary stood at 88,000 rubles ($1,180).

"If we compare wage growth since 2020, the list of leaders remains largely unchanged: investment fund activities and similar financial organizations (3.84 times), gambling and betting activities (3.83 times), coal, anthracite, and lignite agglomeration and thermocoal production (3.18 times), and IT professionals (2.1 times)," Lebedinskaya reported.
