All Organized Russian Tourists Evacuated from UAE

All organized Russian tourists who arrived in the UAE on package tours have now been evacuated from the country, according to the Russian Association of Tour Operators (ATOR). The process was completed on March 15.

Some Russians have chosen to stay in the Emirates of their own accord, but such cases are rare.

ATOR noted that at the start of the Middle East conflict, around 50,000 Russian tourists were in the UAE, with approximately 23,000 arriving on package tours. Around 7,000 Russians booked only hotels through tour operators, purchasing their own flights separately.
