### Russian Airlines Repatriate Over 21,000 Citizens from UAE and Oman Amid Iran Conflict
Russian and foreign airlines have transported approximately 21,000 Russian citizens back to Russia from the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Oman since the start of the Iran conflict, according to the Russian Ministry of Transport (Mинтранс).
From February 2 to 5, a total of 105 flights were carried out, with 97 departing from UAE airports and 8 from Oman. On March 6, 34 flights are scheduled to depart, carrying 7,700 passengers.
Collaboration with aviation authorities of other countries has enabled airlines to operate more flights per day than initially planned. As a result, the Ministry of Transport expects to complete the entire evacuation schedule by the end of this week, earlier than the previously planned deadline of March 14.
The Ministry also noted that the temporary suspension of ticket sales for flights from Russia to Bahrain, Israel, Iran, Iraq, Qatar, and the UAE will remain in effect until March 14. Additionally, airlines have been advised to extend the cancellation of flights to and from Israel until March 20.
