Russia to Introduce Online Collection of Housing and Utility Debts in 2027

By the end of 2027, Russia will implement an electronic system for collecting housing and utility debts, according to a government document cited by RIA Novosti.

The Ministry of Construction and the Ministry of Digital Development will be responsible for introducing online debt collection. By the end of this year, a pilot program for online notifications of court orders to debtors is expected to be tested in two or three regions. These notifications will be sent through the state services portal (Gosuslugi) and the State Information System for Housing and Utilities (GKHIS).
