### Thousands of Russian Tourists Evacuated from Persian Gulf Amid Escalation Around 3,900 Russian tourists have left Persian Gulf countries over the past two days of escalation in the Middle East, according to the Association of Russian Tour Operators (ATOR). ATOR reports that about 1,100 Russians were evacuated from the region on March 2nd, with an additional 2,800 being transported out on March 3rd. This accounts for less than 10% of the total number of organized tourists currently in Persian Gulf countries. - Previously, it was reported that the return of Russian tourists from the Middle East could take between 7 to 12 days. According to ATOR, approximately 50,000 Russians are stranded in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) due to the conflict, while another 2,000 are unable to leave other countries in the region.
